install Ubuntu Lucid with ubuntu-10.04-server-amd64.iso

• uname -a

set password to user root

• sudo su -
• # passwd

• rootにパスワードを設定するのは安全性が下がるので、本来は別にユーザを作って管理するようにした方が良い

install packages

• sudo aptitude install -R linux-headers-uname -r build-essential
